House Rules

House rules and guidelines

·        In the linen closet on the main level and under each sink, we have a black mesh bag with spare “less-than-perfect” towels that can be used in case of a spill or other messy moments that happen. Please don’t use the good guest white linens for clean-ups.

·        Please report any breakage, dysfunctional equipment, mishaps, questions, and concerns as soon as they arise. We want to make your stay, and the stay for those who come after you, as happy and worry free as possible. We can’t address what we don’t know.

·        There are thermostats in every room to help you customize the temperatures in your space, however, please do not set any temps past 22 degrees, most rooms will easily heat beyond this temperature without turning up the heat. It can get quite warm especially in smaller rooms, and there is no air conditioning to shed the excess heat.

·        Games and puzzles are here for you to use, please let us know if you encounter any missing parts or similar issues.

·        Video cameras with the ability to record audio are positioned at the front of the house, the back yard, and in the doorbell to provide peace of mind and security to you and our family. No spaces inside the home are recorded in any way. Tampering with any video equipment will result in termination of your stay and could come with extra charges to the guest should conduct result in damage to equipment.
